Sen. DevOps (all genders)

As a DevOps at Sipwise, your mission is to help creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your hands-on knowledge in system design, application development, testing and operational stability will help your team deliver high quality products. You will be instrumental in solving technical issues and developing integration elements. You will see your ideas come to life as part of a small, success-driven team.

You will be part of a team of highly skilled developers and engineers building, deploying and operating advanced technology solutions on a global level. You will be working with unified communications and routing platforms, advanced SIP and session management infrastructure, open source and cloud based collaboration systems, and other next generation voice services. In addition, you will participate in architecture and design meetings and consult with our business clients to translate business needs into excellent technology solutions.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design, maintain and improve server infrastructure (Configuration, deployment, troubleshooting)
    • Driving force maintaining a pro-active monitoring environment
    • Contribute to the areas of on-premise and cloud infrastructure

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Skill Requirements:
      • Excellent debugging and analytical skills
      • System administration tasks in Linux (Debian/Ubuntu)
      • Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins
      • Experience with resource deployment and orchestration technologies (e.g. Terraform, Puppet/Ansible, Docker)
      • Experience in configuring and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems, monitor and managed cloud services (e.g. Google, OVH, Amazon)
      • Experience with scalable networking technologies (e.g. Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (e.g. REST APIs, gRPC, Websockets)
      • Familiarity with standard IT security practices (e.g. LDAP, certificate management, key management)
      • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
      • Ability to work autonomous and in a distributed and international team
      • Fluent in English (company language)
    • Bonus points for experience with:
      • Contributing to Open-Source Projects
      • Debian Packaging
      • Gerrit / Jenkins
