Profil magazine presents the 150 growth champions of Austria – Sipwise takes the 19th place!

The Austrian magazine, Profil, has collaborated with the leading statistics provider, Statista, to find Austria’s fastest growing companies. They called it “Austria’s Growth Champions”, and out of 150 companies, Sipwise is on the 19th place!

This list of champions is no ordinary list. It is a competition between companies in Austria that achieved particularly high percentage growth in sales between 2013 and 2016. To qualify, a certain set of criteria must be met, and  Statista has set the bar high:

• Generated at least 100,000 euros in sales in 2013
• Generated at least 1 million euros in sales in 2016
• be independent (no subsidiary and no branch)
• have its headquarters in Austria
• predominantly grown organically

In this year, over 3,000 companies have participated, but only 150 could be on the list, and Sipwise has landed itself on the top 20!

It is a feat that the company truly deserves as everyone works hard and making it sure that they deliver. However, this growth does not only show on statistics. It also evident in how much the company grew over the course of the same period. Both in the number of employees and as a team.
