Telecom SIP Engineer (all genders)

As a Telecom SIP Engineer at Sipwise, your mission is to help creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your hands-on knowledge in system design, application development, testing and operational stability will help your team deliver high quality products. You will be instrumental in solving technical issues and developing integration elements. You will see your ideas come to life as part of a small, success-driven team.

  • YOUR TASKS:

    You will be part of a team of highly skilled developers and engineers building, deploying and operating advanced technology solutions on a global level. You will be working with unified communications and routing platforms, advanced SIP and session management infrastructure, open source and cloud based collaboration systems, and other next generation voice services. In addition, you will participate in architecture and design meetings and consult with our business clients to translate business needs into excellent technology solutions.

  • What we expect from you:

    Must-haves:

    • SIP and RTP
    • Open-source SIP proxies (kamailio, opensips) and application servers (freeswitch, asterisk)
    • SIP testing and simulation tools
    • Multi-site IP PBX Infrastructures, SIP gateways and SIP devices
    • Linux (Debian/Ubuntu in particular)
    • Git
    • Bash Programming Language
    • C Programming Language

    Nice-to-haves:

    • WebRTC
    • SQL Databases (MariaDB or MySQL in particular)
    • Redis Database (or similar NoSQL database)
    • Virtual environment: VMWare, Proxmox
    • Cloud environment: GoogleCloud, AWS
    • Contributing to open-source Projects
    • Debian Packaging
