As a VoIP Systems Engineer (all genders) you will be involved in a variety of tasks always focusing on customer satisfaction. In your day-to-day business you will be responsible for the second and third level support for medium sized businesses and corporations using a ticketing system. With your friendly and open-minded personality you will also be responsible for requirements engineering and network configurations as well as the entire deployment of the Sipwise system onsite and in continuous communication with international customers. Additionally you will train the employees of different customers how to use the Sipwise software. Furthermore you will take on (extra paid) on-call services of max. 1 week per month.


    • Deployments (remote or on-site incl. international travelling): you support our customers in terms of set-up and operation of voice telephony
    • Technical trainings: you hold trainings for our international customers in English remote or on customer´s site
    • 2nd level support for and monitoring of customer projects: customer support after deployment
    • Ticketing / bug tracking, troubleshoot and fix
    • Testing: Reconfigure our lab and carrier environments to closely match customer configurations or to new scenarios
    • On-call duty (extra paid, max. 1 week/month after enrollment)
  • What we expect from you:


    • Professional experience in VoIP (SIP protocol)
    • Good knowledge in Linux
    • Understanding of (Cisco) switches and/or dynamic routing protocols
    • Fluent in English, spoken and written
    • Willingness to travel (max. 10%)


    • Networking knowledge
    • SQL with focus on MySQL user and admin skills
    • Experience with SIP-devices, IP- and Ethernet-networks
