You will work closely with other developers and people in the open-source community. You are part of a team of VoIP experts to develop carrier-grade SIP softswitches conforming to the industry RFC standards and support the underlying packaging, deployment and maintenance cycles.



    • SIP protocol knowledge, familiarity and passion for one of the open-source SIP proxies
    • Knowledge of SIP testing and simulation tools
    • Good knowledge of one of the following programming languages: Perl, C, Unix shell
    • Familiarity with highly available and highly loaded server systems
    • Bonus points: Debian GNU/Linux package maintenance, automated deployment skills
    • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
    • University degree in IT field or relevant work experience
    • Previous experience with SIP-based VoIP systems (3-5 years), software or test development background
    • Solution-driven and goal-oriented personality
    • Ability to work autonomous and in a team
    • Willingness to travel for deployments, conferences or fairs

    • Integrate and develop new technologies and VoIP features
    • Work closely with peer Sipwise developers during the release engineering and testing process
    • Troubleshoot and fix escalated customer issues
